JACKSON TRIGGS GRAND RESERVE CHARDONNAY - The grapes were soft pressed after having had skin-juice contact for three hours. The juice was then cold fermented with selected yeasts, and transferred to French oak barriques. The wine underwent 100% full malolactic fermentation followed by 8 months of barrel aging on the lees in one year old barrels.
Luminous gold in colour, this elegant wine is beautifully structured and displays alluring aromas of butterscotch, cashew nut, ripe tropical fruit and toasted oak. Accentuated by a rich and creamy butter finish, the vibrant flavours of citrus, apple and pear perfectly integrate with clean refreshing acidity.
